With the fall of the Terra Republic, the war for the position of the supreme ruler of the galaxy broke out. Countless factions were established and destroyed, and many brave have risen and fallen. This is the best of times, and the worst of times.

Under the severe test of war, the five forces that mastered the most advanced technology in the galaxy became the temporary overlords of the galaxy. Famas, the military commander of the former Terra Republic, led the special forces of the former Republic’s navy. Three high-ranking scientific research officials of the former Terra Republic, holding the advanced technology "Consciousness Remodeling", along with several powerful local corporations, established the Tenjin Commonwealth.

"Consciousness Remodeling" allowed the Commonwealth to have countless suicide ape squads who were fearless of death. After performing "Consciousness Remodeling", the rebellious apes became fully obedient, fearlessly taking down enemies along with themselves by setting off particle explosives.

The son of the former President of the Terra Republic, along with a number of minority factions and small forces established the Free Federation of Mercury, which promotes commerce. In the hands of the President's son, Willian Mercury, lies the advanced technology "Solid State Nano-Reconstruction". At first, this technology was used to save the dying and heal the wounded. Nano-reconstruction can repair all biological and mechanical injuries that are not lethal. No one knows what technology the Xar holds. Legend has it that they implanted the DNA of alien creatures from outside star system into their own bodies, after which all the people in this faraway region stopped talking, and communicated by making a strange noise. The mysterious DNA seems to have its own cognition. It controls living organisms and reproduces through implantation. The Xar is always ready, when no one is paying attention, to eat up the whole world.
