The Story

The Universe of Earth From Another Sun

A massive spaceship called “The Ark” embarks on a 2000-year journey from planet Earth, toward the endless expanse that is space.

Time flies, the Ark arrives at a planet similar in size, composition, and atmosphere to the Earth, announcing the success of the EFAS project. Humanity has finally found its new home, in a star system very much like Sol. A new chapter of human history begins.

Intelligent robots broke the spaceship down and reconstructed the components into “Home”, an agricultural and sustenance habitat. The first batch of humans was incubated using human genetics records stored in the Archive. Generations of men and women set out to explore the vast Kepler 452 system, discovering numerous planets in the process, terraforming them, and constructing new habitats. Mining, industry, and commerce blossomed. After more than 170 years of arduous development since setting foot on the metal floors of the incubation chambers of Home, human footprints can be found in almost every corner of the Kepler 452 system.

But humans are different from machines. Whereas machines are highly capable of creating order, humans have a propensity for sowing chaos. As time goes on, the star system is divided into several factions, and war broke out in A.E. 178. Though it took the Ark over 2000 years to find a new home for humanity, human civilization teeters on the brink of destruction after a span of fewer than 200 years since its rebirth. (A.E. stands for Anno Exploratio, signifying the beginning of a brand-new era)

What happens next may change the course of history for the New Humans. An unknown entity steps out from a centuries-old incubator inside an ancient museum and dons an unrecognizably advanced exoskeletal suit. Inside a screen in the museum that once was Home - the birthplace of the New Humans - flashes a line of text – “Unification Project … initiated”.
